  1. Looks to be a good year for live music round these parts - just booked
tickets to see Killing Joke in April and Gary Numan in May followed by the
Sisters of Mercy a couple of days later - all within a £5 cab ride of my
    house :) Whoohoo!

  2. Blimey, time travel appears to be cheap these days.

I saw Killing Joke earlier this year when they supported Motley Crue.
Their set was that good I remember absolutely nothing about it.

I saw them about 10 years ago at the Roadmender in Northampton and I
don't remember much about their set from that gig. I've got an excuse
though because I'm old and my memory is fucked.

So when does this "good year for live music" start, then?

Take off and nuke the site from orbit, it's the only way to be sure.

And even then, the ten year guarantee doesn't apply.

  10. LOL!

I went to see Bauhaus at Brixton a couple of weeks ago - that was a strange
crowd. Loads of crusty old school goths that looked like they'd been pickled
in amphetamines, loads of dead straight looking people who looked like they
wandered into the wrong gig and a lot in-between. Was a good show though
    once they'd got going.

I forgot to mention Fear Factory in April as well.

  12. It was pretty impressive. They did a really smart montage in one of their
encores of Joy Division's Transmission with their own St Vitas Dance. TBH
the only one that looked any different from a distance was Pete Murphy and
that was mainly down to the lack of hair.
