One more bit of info that might raise a smile

My boy reckons the bike thief had already been temporarily
plastered up. Standard procedure with severe breaks apparently.
It's to keep the sharp, broken edges immobile and thus prevent
further damage *prior* to x-rays and treatment. But the leg and
arm still needed to be properly set, in his case under
anaesthetic during surgery.

When this thick twat "legged it" ('scuze the pun) he had assumed
he'd already been treated, the bones set and the plaster was
final. I questioned this but was told not to assume this bloke
had anything in common with the thinking population.

But during his absence dem bones would have already knitted
together meaning they have to be broken again before proper
resetting. I'm told the method is somewhat less than scientific,
basically they just use a big hammer. Ouch!

Oh yes, the bad news is that he'd kept the support collar on.
Thus his broken neck had remained intact so he will still be able
to run from the law throughout his future career.
