I am, of course, referring to a proper Immelmann, not the modern stunt
    manoeuvre.

eww. Could be worse, could have been Freezywater (is there any woman
there who doesn't have at least 3 differently coloured kids?)

The A10 was chocka from Bullsmoor Lane right down to Carterhatch due
to the bloody Pageant of Motoring on Sunday.

It was today, solid from Bullsmore lane down the A1010 right through
Enfield Highway and beyond. What was unusual was it was both ways
(rather than just Northbound) and at 3pm?

However, we have just come through Hertford (at 5pm) and it was empty.
Everyone was probably still stuck in Enfield!
A mate texted me to ask where I was and say he'd parked next to my
kitcar at the Pageant. I had to go and check to see if mine was still
    parked outside (it was). ;-)

It's Bullsmoor - if you live there why can't you spell it, FFS ;-)

We used to live in Ponder's End (Cowland Avenue), and I used to *hate*
travelling up and down the A1010 - bad driving city.

    heh - exactly.

When we used to live in Ponder's End, I used to take the kid's to the
swimming pool near there, but they got fed up with being out-swam by
the kids with webbed fingers and toes.

  11. Fair play, most Cooper S owners tend to be non-cunts, as they're not cheap
to buy, run or insure, but every now and then you'll find an exception.
But to prove my comment null and void though, I found one last week on the
B258 between Blankenheim and the Nurburgring, on UK plates, with 18" rude
boy alloys and one of those stupid JCWorks GP spoilers.
It's a cracking bit of road, up/down, 180 degree hairpins, fast sweepy
foresty bits and some long straight bits.
I got fed up up of following this chap at 55, so passed him on an uphill
section out of Ahrdorf <pats the torque curve of Mini Cooper D's Turbo
    Diesel engine>.
I got all the hand signals etc and a fair bit of tail gating as its fairly
straight and fast, but then it gets all fast and twisty, and in his
desperation to try and catch me up he over cooked it on a fairly fast right
hander which has a whump half way through it.
I know to straddle the white line, (there is a deep trough where your right
wheels will be after the whump which will really unsettle anything thats not
on race shocks) he didn't !
I was treated by a cloud of dust, a lot of panic braking and a nice side-on
view of his car in my rear view mirror.
He straightened it up OK, but dropped back to a sensible distance afer that
and finally dissapeared out of sight after a mile or so.

And if I don't (and am generally crap at spellin)?
I would rather go 10 miles North [1] than 1 mile South because:

    1) It's green not grey.
    2) You can generally drive faster than you can walk.
    3) You actually can walk without either dying by knife or pollution.
    4) They still speak English like wot I does.

    T i m

[1] I think you are still ok at 10 miles North without a passport.

Jesus, what a knob. It's a racetrack, deal with it. Hadn't he been told to
pull over and let the grown-ups past?

Looks jolly fun does the B258. I've been to the Mosel but obviously need to
    venture a bit further north.

Funny shape for a racetrack, mind.

  15. Tis a lovely road, apart from where it turns into the N67 to Eupen, just
after the old German/Belgium border post.

The road has so much potential, about 3 miles of roman road style
straightness with one mild kink then another mile of straightness.

But the road is so deformed its unbelieveable, you can manage about 40mph
max, but you'll be left with blurred vision and no fillings.

In fact, I had to divert on the way back and found the N676/N68/N672 just as
bad, this is a nice twisty bit of tarmac, until you cross in to Belgian
airspace, then the road maintenence appears to cease completely.

    Cheap foreign bastards.

  17. Good question chap.... very good question..... !

I'm racking my brains now... christ I've been going for 6 or 7 years now and
for the life of me can't remember ever seeing a pillion passenger, but as
its a Public De-Restricted Toll Road, and therefore governed by German
Highway Rules I cannot think of anything that could prevent you taking
    someone on the back.

I'm sure if you google for Ring photo's you'll soon find out (but don't use
    that exact search phrase !)

No standard web pages containing all your search terms were found.

Your search - "Ring photo's" - did not match any documents.

    Suggestions:

Make sure all words are spelled correctly.
    Try different keywords.
    Try more general keywords.
    Try fewer keywords.
Try removing the FUCKING FERAL APOSTROPHE
    Oh.
