He's been a bit lax lately.

And standards should not be allowed to slip.

Like, for example the standard that frowns upon starting a sentence with
    a conjunction?

did you read that page, though?

A lot of deaths seem to be caused by other people: oil spills or being
skittled by someone else who's crashed.

To be honest, I'd love to do the 'ring in the car, but I'm not at all
sure I'd be happy doing it on a bike.

Indeed. Sounds like she's got her head screwed on right.

    Well, mostly...

no sure, if you want to, I wouldn't try and talk you out of it - I'm
    simply outlining my own opinion.
oh never - and I'm not saying I don't sometimes do stupid and
dangerous stuff on a bike, either.

  13. Go, stay at Franks place - The Ringhaus, and borrow one of his fleet first
(the TDI Golf is immense fun I'm told).

    http://www.ringhaus.com/hotel_en/public/cars.php

After a couple of laps then you can decide if you want to take the bike out.

Oh, and do book the Ringtaxi - its an absolute must.

    Get a hold of yourself.

You'll happily cane the **** out of your bike on the IoM (with or
without a pillion) yet you're showing signs of senility when it comes
to the ring. It's a road where you can ride as fast as you lie and
it's not got mile after mile of dry stone walling. What's not to like
    about it?

You know, based on your recent posts about stuff being expensive, I'm
starting to think you'll be wanting to borrow my kilt.

I have already made the greatest contribution to the fight against climate

go and talk to the Catholics.

OK, now you've made me look <clicks>

    €45n for a single and €85 for a twin doesn't seem outrageous.
