    mentally only, of course ;-)

  4. Actually, thinking about it, I think Blaue Ecke would be more up your
street, the Ringhaus is a touch isolated in its location.

paying for two rooms. Check the rack rate and cringe.

"I am considerably richer than yow"

Anyway, I really must stop this recent spate of posting phrases from
comedy programmes, or ogden will be down on me like a ton of bricks.

hint: I didn't pay anything close to the rack rate.

I'm not nearly as rich as Ace.

"you have a higher income than around 98% of the population" & "your
income is so high that you lie beyond the far right hand side of the
chart". Which would be lovely, if they took outgoings & outstanding
    mortgages/loans into account too.

Why? They're - to a certain extent - discretionary use of your income.
You didn't have to take the loans/mortgage out.

If, otoh, they're balanced by income due to those outgoings (property
rental, right?) then that money coming in isn't "income" - you ought to
be including just the profit on those properties, not the turnover.

It's touted as a guage of how 'rich or poor' you are compared to the
rest of the population, not how rich or poor you would be if you didn't
buy a house or a boat or a Ferrari. It also claims to show 'how many
people are better or worse off than you', which is of course complete
bollocks when it doesn't use disposable income & include the net value
    of assets.

I tried to find a violin suitable for a property developer's tale of
woe, but couldn't find one small enough. So I'll offer this instead:

    Wah wah fucking wah.

standard rate you'd pay for a room if you just walked in off the
    street.

it's fucking fantastic - probably the best hotel I've ever stayed in.
sure - it's all down to research, research, research.

Not really. It's a gauge of where your disposable income is, relative to
    the rest of the population.
