Hey All, I hope everyone is doing well. I just got back from a couple weeks of back and forth through the country visiting the east side and west sides of this continent. I arrive back in Big D with my wife handing me a summons. No, she's not filing for a divorce yet. It's a summons to appear in court for my fence here at the house. I look at it and read through it. With all the traveling I've done, I've kinda let my house duties go by the way side. As a result, a couple boards in my wood fence have come loose resulting in a "leaning fence" which isn't bad, but needs attention. Now, at first my reaction was "I'll fix the fence later and no big deal". Then I read through the summons.... "You are hereby commanded to appear in municipal court to answer the charge of leaning fence which has been filed against you by the State of Texas....failure to do so will result in a warrant issued for your arrest". Huh? WTF? Now, I know these republicans are trying to crack down on crime, except for sex with under age boys and toe tapping in men's rooms, but a warrant for someone's arrest for a leaning fence? Then again, this comes from the same court that wants to throw the book at me for telling a guy in an oil change business to get back to work and mind his own business. GEEZ!!!!
