Anyone hear anything about some crazy broad in a cage mowing down a
rider in a head-on, then taking off down highway 49, with her tirelss
rim throwing off sparks and setting the road side on fire?

I heard about this at work yesterday - apparently the police dog that "found" her chewed on her a
little before she was taken into custody.

She killed a guy and burned down two houses - hopefully she's going away for a long time. From the
    SacBee article:

"Wilson is charged and has pleaded not guilty to 22 felony counts of vehicular manslaughter, driving
under the influence, hit and run, resisting arrest and unlawfully causing fires to structures and
    forests."

"The Amador County woman was arrested Sunday after slamming head on into a motorcycle driven by
Gregory Clyde Shannon, who was killed along Highway 49.

According to the California Highway Patrol, Wilson fled the accident scene in an older Chevrolet
pickup that had lost a tire in the collision. Sparks from the remaining wheel rims ignited as many
as a dozen fires along the highway shortly after 4 p.m.

Air tankers, helicopters and dozens of fire engines fought a series of grass fires in rural southern
El Dorado County that destroyed two homes and caused evacuations of residents on two roads off
    Highway 49."

She's got that delightful "lifetime substance abuser" look going for
her. Is it the eyebrows, or what?

And check to make sure it's innoculations were all up to date -- for
the dog's protection. The perp was obviously mad as a hatter.
