I'd love some blinded guy in a car driving straight at my bike.

Perhaps you can wire up my lights too?

Gee, that sounds like a well-thought-out idea. We need more blind drivers,
    don't we?

Someone let Duncan at loose on an internet
    connection and the result was:
he he he lol...my lights are adjusted so as not to blind other drivers and
when on high beam posess enough power to remove any uncertainty as to
whether the lights have been dipped or not...it is very much the case here
in the land of the bright low beam, (read: outside any capital city)...and
is usually unwise to 'flash' another vehicle unless you are quite sure the
brights are on, in the case of being flashed on dipped beams the offended
driver will flash back...and being flashed by a back country ute with 1000W
of firepower is an experience not taken lightly...or even a goldwing with
500W...yes it can be bloody annoying but half the time is due to a load
    carried in the offending vehicle
now fog lights on when not foggy is another matter...and with all these
trendy fibreglass bumper with cheapo lights not designed, mounted or aligned
properly splatting light everywhere that'd be useless in fog anyway cars
getting around...well, the gumbyment should do something about it

Well, it seems to be mainly bikes that drive around with their high beams
on. They seem perfectly happy to have me avoid looking where they are. A
quick dazzling flash might get the message across.

I was once driving across the plains of Kansas late one night and thought
the 'pick up truck' coming towards me had his high beams on. I gave a few
flashes to which he repsonded with a flash that turned night into day. Made
me think twice about vehicles which are on high-beams or just badly
    adjusted/setup.
My Kwaka very conveniently has a knob reachable while driving to adjust the
beam, that way when I go pillion + luggage I can adjust on the fly. It also
helps to be doing more than lighting up the trees when using high beam out
    in the country.
