I never rated them. They kept the inside of my hands warm while the outsides were still freezing from the wind chill.
In communiqué I've just been chatting with a mate who did a trip to Spain on his KTM950SM in November. Down to -4 and below in central France apparently. Muffs or hand wind protection of some sort is what makes heated bars work best.
