Not much to report. The good bit: The court bailiff has been trying to serve them with some papers for us for ages, but the defendants won't open their gate or make contact. As soon as the defendants pitched up into the court waiting room myself and my neighbour nipped into the bailiffs office, and voila, they were duly served whilst we stood there smirking at them. Wonderful stuff, seeing the bloody fools trying to refuse to accept the papers, they had no idea what was coming. The bad bit: Our preparation was all to cock. Once again we had taken the advice of a solicitor, and once again it proved to be totally wrong (you would have thought we'd have learned by now, I have firmly filed solicitors under conveyancing and divorce ONLY). Anyhoo, the judge was very fair and luckily decided it best to adjourn, so we now have to find a costs draughtsman to do the job properly.
