Seems the Nigerians have an answer

Motorcyclists in Nigeria have been wearing dried pumpkin shells on
their heads to dodge new laws forcing them to wear helmets,
authorities have said.

So who's up for a bit of dried pumpkin wearing?

 

So, not just a river in India, then?

 

Ginger in colour I trust - see the thread entitled "Don't become a
vegetable! Wear one"!

 

If we're forced to wear a helmet, I reckon it's best if the helmet actually
does something worthwhile in the event.

Bugger, in my defence I was a) pissed and b) between computers

 

Funny - I bought one of those.... well I say bought - this nice
gentleman emailed me with an offer and despite sending him my bank
details have yet to receive anything. Still it must be the Christmas
post or new year or something.

Anyhoo got to go, I need to call the bank and try to understand why the
mortgage payment bounced
