I have have had a german bike restored for me a bike in germany by an NSU
    enthusiast.

But need to get it back here..............I suppose I could go out and get
    it in a van
but does anyone know a person/company who I might use to pick it up and
    deliver it to the uk????

    Many thanks

    There's always Ginger Bikes On A Trailer ... that's me ;-)

That'll be a pahnd a mile plus ferry and tolls etc - or I'll fly and
ride it back if you cover ticket and beer money etc.

I wouldn't sit on anything that had been touched by an NSU enthusiast..

    Henfield...

My first shag was behind the village hall. Then later Henfield became
host to yet another unrequited love.

  11. In uk.rec.motorcycles, sweller belched forth and ejected the following:
AOL but not my first shag[1]. I used to go in that bit on the left under
the green barrier between Henfied and Woodmancote.

[1] My first shag was in Bolney.

Well putting to side macho issues..I also had a Quickly as a youth
    and enjoyed it .
...Performance isnt everything and in this age of "mines bigger than
yours"..The "s" type with the curved mud guards is a design classic..
having said that the chrome bored barrels on a racing engine managed over
    90 mph on the track

    not bad for 49 cc.

So Im looking forward to getting a good one from germany as soon as I decide
    how to get it back:)
