the motor was spinning but not firing. This is not indicative of a
battery fault. It is indicative of a fuel or a spark fault and given
your insistence that things were related to a damaged fuel line it was a
reasonable conclusion to draw.

Next time get your symptoms right so you don't waste the time of those
trying to find out what is wrong at a distance.
