Thanks for the input Dave, that's a first and we have had loads of
people answer the survey so far. I wish I could explain it, I will
check your responses and see if I can get to the bottom of it.

They may have checked the prices but our research so far shows that 75%
of people get ripped off for their insurance because they don't know
    that they can buy cheaper.

We will be using the information from this survey to help drive down
    the price of insurance generally.

    Thanks for the input.

Currently our research shows that ebike is a long way from the cheapest
company!!!! In fact they are the second most expensive. One of the
reason for collecting more information about the market is to find out
whether this is because we are using the wrong sort of profiles to
mystery shop them with or whether the problem is caused because bikers
just don't shop around as much as they should do.

If you want to know the real cheapest company then fill in the survey
and we will send you a copy of the report.

Good guess, they are vouchers to the High Street store of your choice.

Which are not quite the same thing as 'High St. Vouchers'.

With a bike policy in your "About your insurance policy" section,
you've got "Guaranteed Courtesy Car" instead of "Guaranteed Courtesy
    Bike."

  8. I have had a look at your survey and it requests far too much personal
information. I have a strong dislike of surveys or websites where you
have to provide all of your personal information for no apparent reason.
I don't buy your argument about needing it to be able to send the
vouchers - especially as you can opt out of the prize. Doing this does
not change the questions asked when in reality it should.

I don't actually care about ebike or whether they are cheapest or not. I
hate dealing with insurance companies and hate the hassle of renewal in
order to save a few quid. It is the most customer unfriendly industry I
have ever come across. Your survey simply confirms this.

Most bike policies will have a guaranteed courtesy car written into
    them.

Easy mate, those exclamation marks are expensive. It'll make my premium
go up next year. In all seriousness, you have been asked to keep the
attributions in place when making a response to a prior posting.

Is your survey all about cutting corners and cutting the premium or
does it also measure the quality of cover?

Carole Nash provided the best quality of cover but was more expensive
than Equity Red Star/Direct Choice's policy. Both included breakdown
cover but Carole Nash included European breakdown cover whereas Direct
Choice only included UK Breakdown cover - this does not appear to be
    measured in your questionaire.

Most of the time we are looking to try and get like for like quotes,
for the same quality of cover. That isn't always possible, but it is
one of the reasons to understand as many cover options as possible.
