Didn't you have one at your "20 years on the road" party?

Lovely piece of kit at the time. I used to really want one.

I had some fecking horrible black stadium open face thing (with goggles)
that got replaced by a fecking horrible red stadium full face thing
(with push studs to keep the visor shut).

My first lid was a Stadium Lynx (£17-99 from Argos IIRC), followed by a
Paddy Hopkirk Agordo from Halfords. I smashed that fairly
comprehensively into a phone box and bought another lid, but I can't
remember the maker. It had big Maltese crosses on each side and was gold
and deep metal flake red. Anyone remember those.

I had a life open face with a vented peak and motocross goggles and mask.

One of the moped-isti had one of those when I was 16 (circa 1979). Cannot
remember what make it was though.

Thassit. I was thinking of the other Phil Read Replica, the black and
white one with the checquers round the base, so I didn't relate my old
one as being the same make.

    You may all laugh now.

I blame my Mum but as she bought me a Mascot lancer style leather jacket I
forgive her. Ah but that last year at school was a doosy.

I've just dug mine out if the loft it's a Phil Read Grand Prix made by

Good god yes :) Is it an extra small or size 54? It'd go lovely with my
lancer style Wolf leather jacket (circa 1980) and CB250RS at classic
    bike meets.

You're welcome to it. I need to clear some space. Not sure on the size as I
can't find anything on it which says what size it is, but it does have a
IOM sticker from 1983 on it for that added kudos.

Do you want me to stick it in the post or can you wait till the BOSM.
