That one has been for sale at $19,990 for a while (which given that new
ones were $19,999) I thought was a bit overpriced.

At the lowered price it's decent value for money though.

I was really hoping for a new one rather than second hand but from what
someone recently wrote I gather that Guzzi aren't importing new Norge's
    for 2009.

Which leaves 2nd hand as the only option, I'll give them a ring and talk
    to them.

Ta for the heads up Zebee :)

And you could probably get a little more off...
Yeah, for red I expect so. There are grey demos about, that you could
do various warranty deals on but if you want red I suspect that's your
    bike.

If it has a staintune on, that's about $800 right there.

I'd want a zorst, I'm not fussed about the brand (I just prefer a bit of
    sound).

That it's staintune is a bonus they last well in my (limited) experience
    of them.

The guzzitech.com forum for 1200s (worth joining if you are going to
buy one, low volume) says the 'tunes sound nice. SOmeone has a
Mistral fitted to their Breva with a removable spud, says it's fairly
loud with and very loud without!

There's also the question of keeping the cat.

Do note that the headers tend to colour up which is annoying. Not the
nice "I'm a hoon" blue but an "I'm stainless steel but I will look
like I'm rusting" brown. Autosol cleans it up but you have to do it
regularly. Pisses me right off, you'd think the Ities could manage
    metallurgy by *now*.

    Zebee
    - still loving her Norge (and the cute new tankbag) even if the pipes
    go a funny colour.

Gotta' second that. I'm on my third bottle of accidentally double-sugared
Boag's recipe home-brew and that 'Guzzi looks mighty beaut to me!
The Trump's at a bike-shop and I'm back on the XJ750 this week so maybe it's
just that I'm not gettin' my rocks off enough.....
