    OK......

THIS kind of post could just be emailed between you guys.

I personally had decided to wait until all the ego-trippin' was over and
done with, and then I'd just post or reply to motorcycle stuff.

I'm only posting now because you can't leave well enough alone.

Sunny (who I've never met in person) hasn't said shit during this particular
    battle
    about anyone.

I DO know she's been suffering with her injury.

WHY are you being such an unmitigated prick and taking every opportunity to
slam her that you can find? Especially now?

Why don't you tell fullstate by e-mail how you feel about her? Do we ALL
    need to know?

This is the sort of crap that's disliked about this NG. I know it isn't fun
for you to read posts that talk shit ABOUT you and Brian instead of talking
shit TO you- no matter how much of your ass you've laughed off in your
    posts!

I know I can't prevent you from posting whatever you want, but it'd be nice
if you'd ease up on the free-floating hostility.

I'm asking nicely (OK, after that one moment earlier in this post, ~ big
grin~) if we could calm down. All of us.

It's been quite a while since all this started and you're still ranting
about how you were ganged-up on.

It's not a gang-bang (as you put it) when more than one person disagrees
    with you.

It just means that there are some that don't feel as you do.

There are some here that AGREE with you, that still doesn't make it a gang
    fight.

I ASKED if WE could try to stay more on-topic, and others have echoed my
    feelings.

That does NOT mean NEVER straying from motorcycles, just avoiding
inflammatory rants on things that are pretty well guaranteed to start a
    flamewar.

I could vent my attitudes on religion, nationalism, abortion, alternative
sexuality, our political sytem, or whatever- but to do so HERE would go
against the SPIRIT of this newsgroup, and the concept of newsgroups in
    general.

    Definition- from Dictionary.com

NEWSGROUP: An area on a computer network, especially the Internet, devoted
to the discussion of a specified topic

    peace,

    Dirk W. Harris

BTW- I'm NOT a Bush fan (HELL NO!) nor a Republican.
    I AM an ex-Marine Corps Infantryman (81mm mortarman, non-mechanized,
ground-pounder','83-'86) with an Honorable discharge. (yeah, I know- So
    what?)
I ride my motorcycle every day, ain't got no cage.
    It's a 650cc single. Japan-made. I like it a lot.
It makes farty noises and goes about 90mph downhill (I checked).
I have in the past ridden (for transportation AND fun) a bicycle, a Puch
    Moped, a Yamaha Zuma 50cc 2stroke scooter (FUN!!!), and a '73 BMW R75/5
    (drums front AND rear!).
I read my newsgroups at least daily, but I only post when I've got somethin'
    to say.
If that isn't often enough to make me "cool", then so be it....

Note the reference to actual exhibited behavior. Behaviour CAN be changed.
For example- " He WAS being such an unmitigated prick, but he's since
    stopped."

I was referring to your statements about Sunny over the last week, not just
this post. You still have problems with your reading and comprehension.

Trash-mouthing? Now if that ain't the pot callin' the kettle black!

I didn't dislike this group until about 3 weeks ago when you had your little
    conniption regarding the redistricting issue.

Since then it's mostly been you thumping your chest and yellin' at everyone.

There's still some good content from the more down-to-earth people here.

Again- I'm referring to your posts of most of this month... hasn't all that
bile given you an ulcer yet?
(referring to behavior, as mentioned previously- you can still change!)

    .. in the
Your inner child has obviously taken over your higher (?) functions... this
continual claiming that "someone else started it" doesn't change the fact
that you are the one who escalates the majority of the discussions here to a
personal level. Your overwhelming paranoia obviously contributes to the tone
    of your replies.

Once again- I am NOT any of these people that you may think I am. Nor do I
    know them.

I live in Austin and haven't ridden in Houston, Dallas, Ft. Worth, Irving,
or whatever. I've ridden from the Texas coast up to the Killeen area, and
    west to around Fredericksburg.

Charles Soto is the only other Austinite that I can remember posting
regularly, and I haven't met him.

N/G must mean newsgroup, but I've never been to the other places you
mention. Based on your earlier comments to me, they are probably biker bars
that you would like me to go to and see what happens if I try to "moderate"
the topics of discussion. If I am correct in that assumption, let me remind
you that this is NOT a biker bar. Your screaming "censorship" is also
without merit. What you want is anarchy, no rules or laws whatsoever- not
even those of politeness or consideration.

Again, I'm speaking for myself alone- those "friends" of mine are figments
of your fevered brain. If someone agrees with me, fine. I'm not taking a
census, I'm asking you to stop behaving like a selfish bastard and take your
angry political screeds to a newsgroup that was created SPECIFICALLY for
    them.

It's always all or nothing with you, isn't it? I never said NO off-topic
posts. You are incapable of being objective and seeing how inconsiderate you
are towards the INTENDED audience of this newsgroup.

I shudder to think of what criteria you have in mind.

In deference to a request from Charles Soto, I am not responding to this
ridiculous nonsense.. Seems humor isn't going to defuse the situation so we
will make another effort to let it rest..

Are you saying you've changed? Because I don't recall ever saying so
much as a harsh word to you on here or otherwise. However, when the
"from all directions" starts, you've been known (recently) to jump in
and start talking "negative" about me. I respond in kind, but I don't
even recall responding to you harshly or anything other than a
    professional polite manner.
You should direct the comment to me then. I've been the one to make
statements about Sunny and her lack of responsibility. If you have a
problem with my comments, then too bad. I didn't ask for your
permission to make them, nor do I need it. I really don't care if
she's "suffering in her hour of need". She didn't seem to care when
the subject was brought up many times before and so I have to wonder
why she cares now...other than her ox is being gored right now. I
didn't cause her to be in this position she's in now and I don't feel
bad about it. I will say that I don't wish it on anyone and feel bad
someone would have to be in this place she's finding herself in. But
again, maybe she should re-think her priorities for the future.
Again, that doesn't excuse your comments made here.
What I've witnessed from you directly toward me has been insults and
comments made to others about me when the fight breaks out.

Can you mention a single post where someone had a disagreement with
you and I jumped in to say "that ibungle guy is stupid and he ruins
the whole group...it'd be better off without him, and that's why I
    don't post replies to him"?

If you notice, I don't agree with everyone here...but there are people
who regularly post but don't get involved in the fights. I've had
disagreements with them, but we work them out on our own time. I know
one personally that I've had a disagreement with and we get along just
fine...and it never degraded into personal insults.
I guess y'all found out that a charter and throwing people out that go
against your wishes didn't work out so well?
Are you sure you're trying to change?

    Top Post...

Ah Well.. here we go again.. Apologies to my friend Soto.. Seems you might
have directed your gentle and apreciated request to the wrong
party/parties.. What is.. is.. What was... was... The "old" army buddy stunt
didn't work well, so we go on another strategy.. Sunny.. I haven't
disrespected you in any manner.. in this latest group free for all.. I never
address your posts or interfere in your life in any manner.. I have
indirectly referred to you without naming you.. Only you would have reason
to be sure of what I have said.. The reason for that would be your own
participation in what is going on.. Your hatred for Brian is obvious.. Your
animosity towards me is evident.. Denials don't change it or make it more
justifiable.. Ignoring your posts is not enough and you won't be content
till Brian and I are totally discredited.. Several, including me, have tried
to defuse this little charade, for the past several days... Either, one of
your defenders fire it off again or you recruit someone to come in from
another group to keep it hot.. Doesn't really matter "who" or "what issue" ,
just as long as you are in the background and uninvolved.. FYI.. this group
will never be the sanitized and moderated environment, you and your friends
seem to want.. Evidently, that wasn't successful in your own group and that
doesn't seem to work well on this one.. Your lack of understanding of Bikers
and especially Texas Bikers is awesome.. None of your circle seem to
understand the freedom to say what is on your mind and to express whatever
you believe.. Control and Moderate is not my idea of a comfortable
atmosphere.. If I find myself amongst a group that is discussing a subject I
am uncomfortable with, I move away and seek company with a group that I can
be comfortable with.. Click on the next thread.. I have done that many times
on this group.. E-mails have been hot and heavy during this entire latest
fiasco.. The declarations to that effect are here .. "The Walkers" have been
targeted .. That much is also apparent.. Duplicity is a double edged sword,
be very careful how you use it.. Since my postings have been the ones most
have found to be objectionable, then I am the one to single out.. Go for
    it.. openly and publicly..

    EVERYTHING ELSE OMITTED!
HEY THERE! Haven't seen a post from you in a while. Looked like you
weren't feeling so hot. Not feeling good enough to surf must be
pretty bad. Glad to see you are feeling good enough to get back
    online!

I thought you had thing removed while I was up in Chicago?? Thought
you would be in therapy and being tortured by now (as if you haven't
    been enough).

Exploratory surgery? That doesn't sound good. Nothing they can see
    on an MRI?

Get fixed up so you can ride, and if you don't....well, I'll just have
to wander out that way sometime.

A million dollar policy? You do realize this is one dollar more than
    $999,999.00, don't you?
Uh, you're full of shit here. There's no such thing. There are
companies who don't insure for pre-existing conditions, but I've found
many policies and taken out many policies that covered everything. As
I told Margaret, I've worked low paying jobs to make sure my family
was covered and had no problems with health insurance. It's called
    responsibility.
Something about when insurance was brought up and ways to solve any
problems, you didn't want to hear about it. You quickly pointed out
that you liked things the way they were and this is a motorcycle
    group, not insurance.

I guess you want to hear about solutions now, don't you?
Good, then stop posting crap about how we need to be sympathetic about
your injuries and lack of insurance. This is a motorcycle newsgroup.
    Go post on alt.personalinjury.noinsurance
Once again, you're full of shit. You just aren't looking to finding a
way to get insurance. Cigna, Blue Cross and several others cover
pre-existing conditions and cover motorcycle related injuries...at
least until they stop because of the new laws in effect that you
didn't want to hear about. I'm sure Home Depot, Walmart, Target and a
few others provide these policies to their employees. Go get a job and
get coverage like everyone else is supposed to do.
There you go again. You want to change it without changing it.
And there's the "I don't want to hear about it". Well, I don't want to
hear crying about you being hit by a deer and not having the proper
coverage you should've had before riding that motorcycle.
I've rode through deer, cattle, foxes, dogs, cats, turtles,
armadillos, rabbits, large birds. The only one I've hit that I almost
lost control of was an armadillo. I was going 70mph and didn't even
slow down. Even still, I had the proper coverage for health HAD I went
down or had the animal break my leg.
I didn't say you wouldn't pay off the hospital. I said you don't have
insurance for medical coverage. So, sue me! I only got the information
from people who were doing your begging for money to pay the medical
    bills.

Besides, slander is spoken and libel is written. Since I don't talk
about you to others, it's kinda hard to find an attorney to sue
someone for slander. But, you go ahead and find one in Graham to sue
    me.
Yeah, PirateLord, you can keep her. She likes going with whoever's dog
    we'll hunt with.

haven't done what you are accusing me of.
