    I could *almost* understand somebody paying US $3000 for a
    mint-condition original first-model one with 0 miles on the odometer,
    but for an unexceptional model with 4000 miles and an abominable blue
    paintjob...?

    (Of course, building up a bike that has sentimental value is a
    different story altogether.)

    <rant>

    And don't get me started about these dickheads setting their opening
    bid at $1000 then trumpeting "NO RESERVE!!!!!!" - it's the same fuggin'
    thing!

    </rant>

    I quite like the blue and would be my colour of choice

    why do a groundup rebuild and paint red or orange , do something different

    me personally in his situation would be to keep it for sentimental value
    as a memento
    NO RESERVE LMAO

    Crikey Pete, are you turning into Clem (or maybe Pat?)

    This replying-to-a-two-month-old-message business just isn't you, mate!

    So, have you taken an axe to that rusty motor yet? ;-)

  7. No, but I hope you weren't planning on patenting that idea for a Drop
    Angle Grinder!
