Not sure if there are still people here that remember me, but I used to be a
reguler on this group, and participated
in many rides.. i still even have the black aus.moto t-shirt :) ..
anyway.. what brings me here.. after getting married.. being tied long hours
in work, i got out of bikes, and dare i say it.. but drove cages
everywhere.. (still have a nice cage (200sx)). :) .. anyway.. after
recently going on holidays in europe, seeing bikes everywhere.. the bike bug
is starting to bite again 8-D ...
hmm but cant keep all my toys.. the better half says one must go if i want
to get a bike... out of 2 cars and one boat.. one car must go.. cant be the
4wd, as that boat needs towing.. so it has to be my pride and joy 200sx..
    Guys am I crazy ?
If i sell the 200sx, i will probably get a zx6r.. previously I had one, and
loved it.. dont think getting something bigger is such a good idea :) ...
so what do you guys think.. ditch the 200sx, for a zx6r ?
    am i crazy ?

P.S. any guys from the group still remember me ? hmm i think its hitting 10
years now :( .. shish am i getting that old :(

    I'd **** off the 4wd and the boat, keep the 200 and get a '05 ZX6R or
    '04 ZX10R.

    But that's me...

Hard decision, if it was me I'd piss off the 4wd and boat, buy a decent
boat* and the new bike. Then you can say, "see dear, I've gotten rid of
one car before I bought the bike just like you asked".

But then again there could be a reason I'm divorced.....

*ie one that's too big to tow - leave it in the water :)

"So far Howard's luck has survived a great deal: his move to dismiss
broken election pledges by distinguishing between "core" and "non-core"
promises; his retrospectively time-limited "never ever" pledge on the
goods and services tax; his vagueness about when he committed Australia
to war against Iraq; his shifting standards for ministerial conduct; his
demonising of asylum seekers as child killers; his tendency to blame
"advice" rather than to openly accept responsibility when things go wrong."
Will Howard's luck survive another election ? Do Australians not care
that their PM is a liar ?

    That's "alias Love-God"? :)
    Yes.

If you sell the 200SX some other person will probably drive it....
burn the thing and claim the insurance......it's one less car on the road.

As for the boat, dump that. Joghn L. is absolutely right, to count, a
boat has to be too big to tow.

Once you've got a _proper_ boat, you won't need the 4wd either.....
    burn it too!
December 1995....not quite 10 years, but close.

Nah, never heard of ya. ;-)

be honest , how much use does the boat get ??

get rid of the 4WD , get rid of the boat

want to go boating for a day then go and rent one be cheaper in
    the long run

same could also apply to bikes , if you aren't going to ride much atm then
go and rent the latest and greatest every month for a day
saves on the maintenance , depreciation , insurance etc

    Tesaro Who ??

It seems to be widely agreed that the non-counting boat
and the 4wd he uses to drag it about can both go. I take
issue with your assertion that the 200sx ain't a decent
    car tho.

I suppost he could trade in the 200SX for an N14 Pulsar
GTiR... Same engine, much smaller car, 4WD. *That* would
kick arse. (And... smaller car... more room in the shed
    for additional bikes!)

i did a similar thing and decided on my move back to road bikes
would have to be in the 600s.
I still think it was a wise choice I went for the triumph but
everyone thinks differently, i have ridden with 2k+ zx6s and
they are a nice bike and as fast as anything but so are all of them ??

    cheers dan

WOOOHOO.. there are stil people on from 10 years ago !! WOW.. well 9 years
    ago..

anyway.. the boat is staying, thats a passion of mine.. so that has ta
stay... i'd like a bigger one.. but keeping em on the water is $$$$..

misses drives the 4wd to work (10 mins away).. i catch the train.. parking
in the city for cars in a no no.. the 200sx is modified, so only comes out
at night, and is not used for a daily driver.. hence the choice..

if i get the bike.. might start going to work with it.. would save time..

hmm anyone looking at selling a 2000+ zx6r with say under 20k in the near
    future ?

Noah's first "carnmaaaate" reaction during a
typical Friday arvo's trading as a middleman
in downtown Mesopotamia, when a new
client, looking at options, whispers to him some
    overheard hush-hush rumour about potential
    unseasonal passing showers.
