    a) What was your best personal biking moment of 2003.
    and:
    b) What was the best biking moment on UKRM during 2003.

    a)
Wheelying at eeek speed down a motorway in fourth gear for a long way.
Also, overtaking Cane on the Mxx then checking to see if my GSXR1000 was
    indeed de-restricted [1]

    b)
Champ winning that race. It really made me smile.

[1] It was and just kept on going. [2]
[2] But I weigh nothing anyway.

    a) Discovering that my commute from my new house included 10 miles of
    unclassified roads.

    b) Even though I missed it by a few seconds, the Ginge/Seat interface
    on the Spring French run..

Coming round a roundabout on Jas's ER-5 and seeing the beginning of the
famous tunnel in Monaco that the F1 cars scream through.
Seeing 18 year old Dynamic thrashing the tits off Blaney's CBR600 after
being subjected to a shite TZR125 and a ZZR250, and then the grin on his
face as he pulled his lid off in the carpark afterwards. It's things
    like that make me smile.

No one moment, but getting my confidence back on the ZRX has been great.
Not really on UKRM, but on a UKRM trip..

Watching Bonwick try to stand up the morning we all had to ride back,
then seeing him fall flat on his arse, more pissed than he was the night
    before.

It was only justice though, after all, the fucker stood there drinking
my pint when the frogs loaded me into an ambulance.)

    a) a spirited ride along the A413 ending in the guy behind me being pulled
by the unmarked plod car we'd overtaken somewhere on the road.

    b) The miscellaneous threats of bodily harm? Actually I don't really have
any UKRM highlights. Porl's attention seeking perhaps...

Clearing the tabletop at Wildtracks: just floating down to the softest
landing ever. Or maybe getting my left knee down at Silverstone so
many times... before the bloody FZR highsided on its own coolant.
    TOG's auction. Hilarious.

Yes, it is New Year's eve and I am that sad git.

    Bah! Humbug.

Meeting real (ish) live (ish) ukrmers for the first time.

Selling the XV535 and buying the FZS600 then seeing overtaking spaces
    increase ten-fold,
although meeting that moose of a woman a couple of hours later in a
motorway service station was a mistake. 4 feckin warts on her nose was
the least attractive of her anti-assets. Yick! She sounded so good on
    MSN Messenger.

Difficult one. The summer. Probably riding home from work in a shirt,
trousers and brogues day after day after day. Sun, sun, sun and more
    sun. Lovely.

But if it's got to be an individual moment I would suspect that would be
finally finding a hotel after riding from Bordeaux to (north of Paris)
having to go right through the middle of Paris (since the exterior and
interior peripheriques were shut) and having suffered 40 degree+
temperatures and a breakdown on the way. It was nice to stop and to get
under a cold shower to try to take some of the heat of the sun off my
    arms.

Pass, I really don't remember. Hmm... Des claiming Fora wasn't a plural
    of Forum possibly...

  20. The ride back from Italy, but that was a bit long to be called a
    "moment".
Sinking the first ice-cold glass of Chimay, at the eponymous town, when
we arrived in the heatwave. By the fifth, I'd forgotten where we were.
