Christofire says... I used to live in Blandford Camp when I were but a wee nipper. Our ickle sis was born there in Racedown Road. My old man was stationed there with 30 Sigs. -- Lozzo Track pixie GSX-R1000 K1 I haven't lost my mind, it's backed up to a floppy disc that's around here somewhere.
Lozzo wrote What is so bad about that, that is 15 shags if they was Senior Service. Only 10 if they was woodbines though.

My youngest daughter was born in Racedown Road back in 68 the midwife and doctor were in a flap as they had two babies arriving within minutes on either side of the camp. SWMBO worked at Badger for a while in the bottling side of things I never did get used to drinking that stuff.
Les Thompson says... Ickle sis was born at number 16. The doctor's eldest daughter's name was Jennifer, and she had another girl called Jenny, possibly a step- daughter. My mum liked the name so called my sis the same. We lived in College Road before Racedown. I don't remember it, we left there when I was 3.
I was up the hill at no.41 until 1970 then returned in 72 and lived on College Rd until I left the Signals in 78. Interesting place Blandford Camp I'd have loved to have seen it when they used to use it as a racetrack. I even managed to bin a Tiger Cub while showing off my riding "skills" round the perimeter road )
I lived in College Rd from '72 - '83. It was the one in Aston Clinton though. This has been Pointless Post #112 in a series of infinity. -- Krusty. http://www.muddystuff.co.uk http://www.muddystuff.us Off-road classifieds '02 MV Senna '96 Tiger '79 Fantic 250
