    Asking 3000 for a burnt out wreck seems excessive to me.
    Most of the damage looks to be cosmetic, but that is the expensive
    stuff to replace.

    A decent example could be bought for the money that this one needs.
    IOW - a money pit.

    Almost certainly, plus you don't know how badly the engine suffered
    either. Or the frame.

    AFAIK one of the realclassic guys (Frank Westworth?) rebuilt a bike from
    a burnt-out wreck and was surprised how much it had suffered.
