hmmm what to engrave....

Discussion in 'UK Motorcycles' started by Doesnotcompute, Apr 15, 2004.

  1. I'm taking advangtage of the currency swing (poor us$) and getting a
titanium ring shipped over from the US.

There's an option of free internal engraving, up to 35 characters.
I'd quite like something, just to identify it as mine and make it a bit
more unique. Perhaps something Latin, or some other inactive language.

Being Ti, I'd rather it was done professionally up front before the
    polishing is done etc.

So - anyhone got some suggestions?

Sorry, that's more than 35 characters.

Why not buy one here? Hardly expensive. I have one as a wedding
ring, cos I'm not a great fan of gold.

    You work it out.

If you want it to be yours, and unique to you, how about thinking
    something up yourself?

I must see a therapist. I thought you were on about some sort of sex

  17. was it the word "swing" that threw you?

No! and it probably isn't anyway.
    nice, but tempting fate somewhat.
    hmm.

For a bit of irony I thought about instructions for removal in case of
    emergency. Not enough characters tho.

Erm. 65 I paid for mine. Harvey's or Ratners or some such shite shop.
Mined eww it is plain Titanium, not coloured. Even so the shop where
I had it sized down in Harlow had a range of quite funky ones at the
    100-200 mark
    Just did :)

Got it eventually. I'm fully aware of what it means, since titanium
is rather hard, I thought it might be vaguely amusing......
