He's drunk. He only shows up when he's drunk, nowadays.

  2. Going by the bile you've offered up tonight, you're in good company
    then.

  3. He's been drunk since Halloween, then. Maybe even Easter.

    Ha ha ha.

How does offering up bile qualify one as a retard?

I can understand people taking the opinion that it marks someone as
    'unstable' or 'bitter' but retarded?

I think you need to reconsider your post.

To be perfectly honest I don't even think it and other posts are that
    bilious.

Although there is a liver connection.

Well, quite. You were frank in your views of one person and that's all
    that stood out.

    Hardly baying at the moon.

    3/10, must try harder.

  9. Blimey. Even I can't claim that. I am somewhat scratching my head over his
posts last night: he normally comes across as, oh, reasonable.

  10. Depends on the bile in question, I suppose.
I think I need to reconsider the merits of paracetamol (1)... that and
whether posting after an on off all day session in the pub is
    necessarily a good thing, too.

    (1) In relation to relieving a hangover, not relieving UKRM of my
    presence (2).
    (2) Sorry to disappoint.

  11. He is?

Only Scott Mills has never come across as someone right up his own back
passage (1), whereas Steve Wright appears to be a great believer in the
great talent that is himself, and that we should all be grateful to be
    blessed with.

Condescending to say the least, and I long stopped listening to his
    show as a result.

    (1) Probably because he's invariably up someone elses... (2)

    (2) ...allegedly

The problem with Scott Mills is that his choice of music is shite
(although I suspect that's just the R1 playlist) and that his 'gags' may
have been funny when he first hit national radio several years ago, but
they're wearing a bit thin these days.

A lot of the same could be said for Steve Wright, but he's partially
    redeemed by the R2 playlist....

  16. Indeed, and doesn't make any difference to me whether he, or in fact
anyone else in the public eye, is straight or gay - either I like
listening to their show, or I don't.

  17. In this context that's fucking laughable given how tired and washed up
the stuff offered up by Steve Wright generally is - yes, it may have
been considered slightly original 'back in the day' when he was on
    Radio One, but now?

    LOL

FWIW, I rarely listen to either of them when I'm on my daily commute -
all hail the mighty MP3 headunit.
The point is, Steve Wright comes across as exactly what he is - someone
with a fucking big chip on his shoulder with regard to how 'gifted'
they are, and how 'funny' the content is on their show, whereas Scott
Mills just seems to be happy to be there - doesn't feel the need to
state 'all material is copyright' at the end of his show either.

As I said, he's redeemed by the R2 playlist.

Neither are particularly funny, but I find R1 music and humour a bit
    childish these days.
It's very easy to get very bored of playing music *all* the time.
    *shrugs*

I just hate R1. Apart from Moyles in the morning. From 10am onwards,
    it's R2 all day.

On average, I'm spending 25 hours a week in the car. It doesn't take
long to get through my entire iPod at that rate. Especially if you're
    skipping through all the shite.
    Pissed again?
