Krakow. We've just returned and I can't think of anything to complain
    about.

It doesn't shape up too well on the reasonably warm requirement but
bars and restaurants are heated so you've got the choice as to whether
    you freeze or not.

we had a brill time. don't think it got above freezing all the time we
    were away though.

the train was ok, went out on time but they managed to reserve our
seats twice so as they were a three [1] we got moved to other seats
which faced in the wrong direction and werent next to a window.

the train journey was dull for ten hours but he spent most of it
drinking. the train back to Berlin wasn't as bad as we managed to get
better seats and I guess knew what to expect.

I expected the German bit to be better supported but we only got a
food service during the poland sections and they unhooked it once we
got onto german soil. needless to say the food car was also the
    smoking car.

I was also amazed how well the germans observed the no smoking ban in
bars and restaurants once we got back to Berlin. our night there
before the ban was liking drinking in smog

[1] and spoke the language of the train manager.

    I stayed here

    http://www.holiday-rentals.co.uk/Morocco/holiday-house-Atlas-Mountains/p67398.htm

and it was fantastic. It's small enough to get sole occupancy. It's
not in the nicest bit of the Medina, and has a "local" feel, but it's
no more than 10 minutes walk to the Djemma el Fna once you get your
bearings. There's an excellent cook who provides breakfast every day,
and lunch and dinner by arrangement (and small extra payment), and a
house manager to look after the place (and run you to the out of town
Carrefour for cases of wine) but basically you have the run of the
    house.

Well, my would-be matchmaker reports you as not hidden on another site
as well (although I don't know if you can do that on that particular
    site).

That's interesting though as supposedly it turns up in "last logged
in"order, and you turn up first... Possibly not a good sign.

I shall relay the info, ta.

    You are both right.

Though I failed to get a traditional Christmas shag this year, see if I
can't sort out a birthday shag instead. AFAIC once a year is about as much
effort as I'm prepared to commit to servicing my inbuilt genetic imperative.
The swapping of spit and sperm is, frankly, a ridiculous activity and one
which (other than it's primary function) the benefits are outweighed in the
extreme by the drawbacks. If you see someone you begin to have romantic
(bleuchhh) thoughts about. Just consider the cost and inconvenience
implications 6 months down the line.

Oh... and a happy new year to everybody )
