    If I had to pick something off the shelf, an original monolever 80GS
    would be top of the list. I must've done thousands of miles off-road
    on mine. But they're still bloody heavy, & the cylinders sticking out
    the side could be a liability.

    That is a staggeringly dumb piece of design, guaranteed to coat your
    right foot with soot & get trashed at the first off, possibly taking
    the turbo with it.

    There must be a better, safer, routing for the exhaust.
    With the turbo's ability to kill the peaks of the exhaust note you might
    get away with a straight pipe routed out to the back with minimum
    silencing.
