    Went to France, came home.

It was wet, I lost all confidence, it was wet, saw a castle, saw a condor,
rode over my iPaq, it was wet, had beers.

    Pictures to follow

Pillock. What did you do that for?

Why did you lose your confidence? Did you have a good time though?
Good. Anyone go to the ring?

Well, you know when after you get off the bike, take the backpack off, put
it on the floor somewhere (in front of frontwheel as it happened) and are in
such entertaining company that you forget about it? I did. I felt the
frontwheel twitching as I was setting off and thought, hmm, big rock that
was, then the backwheel hit the pretend rock. Suddenly something clicked.
Turned around, saw the bag and thought: hmmm, not good. Opned the backpack
and saw that the 20 quid metal preotective case had done it's job
(protecting that is). Was quite impressed that it could hold nearly 250 kg
    of me and bike.
Don't know, probably lack of practice with fast boys, combined with a
bar-end that wanted to see the world, tyres that need replacing, suspension
that's crapped out and maybe, just maybe I'm shit at riding :)
Not as far as I know. We went off to Verdun (FastBoysClub and SlowBoysClub)
had a bit of a meal(ish) and decided to go to Dun. Very rapidly lost the
FBC, Monz decided to join us again (us being Mr. and Mrs. SD, me and dwb).

Bit of a toss-up between just riding or, as I suggested, to do something
cultural. My thinking was riding can be done everywehere, I want to go and
'See Something'. Ended up in Bouillon, had some coffee and pancakes.
Bouillon has a very nice castle, so we were all supposed to go up there. Me
and the SD couple set off first to go through a little tunnel and try some
KSB's, then turn right towards the castle and wait for Monz and dwb. After I
parked up, I see two bikes at the junction turning left (away from the
castle) on a very wet, woodslutch road up the hill, dwb in front, Monz
following. Monz did notice that the way they went wasn't the correct one, so
frantically tried to get dwb's attention and make the international sign of
'turnaround'. Dwb saw that as: go faster I, I really enjoy the feeling of my
bike shifting 3 feet towards the edge of the road in every corner. Suffice
to say that Monz wasn't to pleased.

Me and the SD's did get to the castle and had a very pleasant walkaround.
Nice collection of birds there, top-piece being a Condor....**** me, are
they big. After about an hour of walking around, the castle was about to
close, we went to the exit and thought that Monz and dwb had done the
sensible thing and returned to Sedan as we were about 10 miles from there.
SD mentioned it would be funny if the two of them were waiting where our
bikes were parked and lo' and behold they were. Had a nice trundle back to
the hotel where much beer was drunk and food was eaten.

Forgot in the original post, but I would like to take this opportunity to
thank TOG for an excellently (again) organised trip and all the rest of the
people who turned up. Apart from the weather, I really enjoyed this trip.

    Again. Pillock. :)

    Does it still work?
    Heh. I'm sure it's not true. ;-)
    That's better. A w/e report. Ta.
