Anyone have any opinions on this bike..? Had one as a loan bike while mine
was being serviced and was very impressed, considering making them an
offer for it as it's almost new (500 miles).

You know how people drive hire cars? You should never buy an ex-demo or
loaner bike for the same reason. Case in point - I was down the local
MV dealer last night, & a bloke took a Brutale 910 demo out for a spin.
It had done 15 miles. The mechanic fired it up, then blokey headed off,
hitting the rev limiter in 1st. Do you really want to buy a bike that's
been treated like that on a cold engine?

Thanks for the opinions. I've had another ride on it and I think I'm going
to have it anyway, after all you can never be sure what anyone has done
with what is effectively a 2nd hand vehicle and it is coming with the full
2 year warranty. I know the dealers, having dealt with them for 7 years
and if I put it on the credit card there's another level of protection if
    anything does go pear-shaped.

I do have a car as well (need it for work) so I don't tend to do high
mileages, less than 3000 I think last year, so it's not going to get
    hammered.

I'll let you know how I get on :)

  4. James came into sight through the beans and said
Seconded. Regularly do 100+ miles/day and have a lot of fun doing so.
Good for A road blats as well as mile crunching on the motorway.
