I need to get a puller to remove the flywheel from my 1972 Honda ST 70 so I
can change the points, I used to have one but, predictably, I can't find
it. I believe that all small Honda singles use the same puller but I can't
seem to get one anywhere, any suggestions?

    In
ISTR the flywheel on my old CB125S was could be removed using the rear wheel
spindle as a puller, perhaps the trick would work here?

Thanks JB and Steve, I know what you mean about the spindle, but it won't
work on the ST, thanks anyway.

JB, I'll have a look at it in the morning and get back to you if that's OK.
Where are you? I'm in North Herts, but I do travel about a bit.

That's very decent of you, I'm in Hitchin, Hertfordshire.

I haven't managed to find out what the sizes are, I have a manual but it
doesn't give any info regarding the required puller.

  7. Mine cost £3.50 from Ebay. It's basically a large bolt. I can post it,
but getting your own isn't pricey.

Thanks for that TOG, I have followed the link and ordered one. I didn't
search properly or I would have found that too.

Thanks for your offer Adie, if it dosen't turn up I may get back to you.
