Honda VFR decals

After doing a really crap job of spraying the nearside middle panel on
my VFR, I've had a quote of 60 quid from a local guy to paint it
    professionally.

However, before I hand over the panel, I want to get an OEM sticker for
    it.

A search of eBay and David Silver hasn't revealed anything - are Honda
likely to have deleted them? - if so, any recommendations as to where I
    could get one?

Or should I just stop being fussy and get it painted up without the
    decal?

Try writing to David Silver to see if they can get the part: they
often get spares which aren't listed on their site.

Paint first, then decal, then lacquer. After spending a **** load of wasted
time waiting for various decal suppliers to actually, er,,, supply decals
for a variety of bikes over the years, one has stood head and shoulders
above the rest for speed and quality.

Simon wells, he's called in (I think) Lincolnshire, but that could well be
wrong as I've only dealt with him on the trombone. wherever he is, he can
post decals quite easily. Ask Timo who couldn't get the decals for his 250
Honda for love nor money. This bloke had them to me in three days.

Cheers - that was the plan.

    Paint - decal - lacquer.
    Good stuff, cheers.

  7. Sunrise Graphics. They supplied the decals for my TS250ER, and Beav will
    testify to their quality.

Only do the one I need as a full set. And they're based in the US, which
    is less than ideal.

These people have a very good reputation and will match originals
    exactly.

The quality was good, but they seemed to have immense problems with Timo's
decals, to the point I gave up on 'em and found another supplier. Those,
    along with another "Image" firm.
