He was an inspiration to me.

One of my favourite actor/directors but he was responsible for many crimes
against motorcycles. In the weeks after Easy Rider was shown in cinemas
many Bantams, C15s, Tiger Cubs, Franny Barnetts and suchlike suddenly
acquired ape-hangers and huge backrests.

 

It was well known it was coming but it still made me sad to hear. But 74
isn't a bad innings and heavens above, did he rip it up and live life out to
the full.

 

It's hammy as **** but perfectly watchable and I love the Cat.
But for Blue Velvet he had a lifetime GOOJF card.
