"test racing kit parts on a 1125R to support teams that may wish to
campaign that machine in American Superbike"

Bwahaha! Unless of course, the Japanese factories and Ducati are not
just discouraged from racing but actually banned or found illegal or
    something.

So what we really have here is a series or two especially designed to
    make sure that Buell win.

Curious that Hodgson will be out on something. Though who knows what.
And then there's the Bostrom-Hayes Yamaha team. What are they actually
    going to ride and test?

Stick a fork in it and turn it over. It's done.

IIRC, you said DIS was a thing of the past. Tell me, how's that workin'
out? Oh, and I realize the economy, which I said 8 months ago would
likely dictate how far and how fast DMG goes, is something you don't
want to talk about either, but that's just you (Abrams too) and your
Jap centric bullshit. Dude, you have no idea of what you speak and it's
an effort in futility for even attempting to explain anything to you.
Do me/us a favor, either go away, or STFU and listen for a while. Who
knows, you might actually learn something..
I told you month's ago the 1125r was being groomed in ST for next year,
obviously you were more focused on fuel tank size, (Jap fuel tank size)
but considering you're an industrial strength idiot why would anyone
    think differently?
Actually, it's looking like the only game around, and if you don't like
it go find something else, either that, or go watch those MIC races.
Oh, that's right, that didn't work out either. Jeez, who knew?

Bottom line, you're just a jerk that likes to parrot's what you read,
what you're too dumb to realize is those guy's are being paid by folks
with an agenda beyond racing. Now, go read your magazine, I'm gonna
ride north to the "World Center of Racing." (heheh!)

How is Ducati discouraged from racing, exactly? It seems like DMG has
done about all they can to get them in, from giving them two classes
where the 848 will likely be the best machine to apparently allowing
the 1098R into ASB (Pegram is on one today), probably the best bike
under those rules (only Ohlins fork on the grid?).

The Japanese, I totally agree, unless they walking in the door already
    neutered...
Report is Hodgson is on this year's bike, just tire testing, it seems.
Yamaha is trotting out the new bike, but what wonders what parts
they're using, given that none are actually legal for ASB as of yet.
    Well, basically yes...

Correction, RRW now reports Hodgson was on a 2009 ASB bike, stock
forks and all. But was it an ASB motor or an '08 full SB motor? The
Yamaha guys were notably slower than Hodgson, and slower than Pegram's
1098R "streetbike". This was an odd comment on Soup: "The Yamaha
garage is full of crew, tearing open UPS overnight packages stuffed
with factory R1 parts." So what are these factory parts, how can they
possibly be viewed as legal, certainly not now but even later? Are
they from Japan or Italy? Are they part of some Yamaha SB kit? Or is
this just Soup painting an image with no real content?

No, you don't RC (or you're lying once again). I said perhaps Daytona
should be a thing of the past, unless they can somehow make it safe.
IIRC, you said pretty much the same thing 4 or 5 years ago. But now?
    Of course not.
Badly. Just like everything else in AMA racing these days.
More than happy to talk about it, and Abrams does talk about in his
column, quite prominantly. Of course you're trying to use that as an
excuse for your boys, their master plan would have worked out so
perfectly had the economy not gone to hell. Or are you saying they
predicted it and so figurred f*cking everything up the way they have
    just wouldn't matter?
Listen to who, you? Might as well listen to old tapes of Nixon,
    Haldemann, Erlichman...
Jeez, seems to me like I said from day one, when the DSB class was
first announced, that it was designed to be won by the American and
Europeam bikes and not the Japanese, that the rules were decidedly
anti-600, and they haven't gotten any better. But do continue with
    your habitual name-calling...
Maybe your fellow liars at DMG, the ones who promised certain things
to the Japanese OEMs to get them back in the game, then delayed
endlessly and finally reneged on those promises. Face it, the only way
anyone serious about racing would be involved in this mess is because
it is the only game in town. Monopoly power, remember?
You mean DMG? Yeah, no sign that it's the future of real racing that
    they're concerned with.
Quotation marks is right - when are they going to set up a rasslin'
    ring inside the tri-oval?

You're probably right there. So is the new 1198 going to be legal in
ASB? Seeing as how Bayliss put it round Portimao faster than the
superstock lap record on (sticky) road tyres.

You are sooo full of shit you prolly have to wipe your feet just to put
    your shoes on!
Versus last year? Dude, the Old AMA was riddled with incompetent fools
and crooks with their hand's out, they got theirs and went away and new
guy's who aren't beholding to OEM's are in charge. (sorry 'bout 'yer
    luck dood..)
8 month's behind me and he gets paid for it? Heh, I wonder by who..
WTF? Are you saying DMG is responsible for the world financial crisis?
I knew they had some juice, but damn..!
I tendered that question back in March, but you were too busy calling
France and Co. Nazi's, or whatever the fuk it was. BTW, that's just one
of a few very relative points I laid out that you chose to ignore..
Actually, we all know you pray at the feet of Bush/Rove, so please,
    quit pretending anything else..
OMFG, MY NAME CALLING? Mark, there isn't ANYONE in this group that YOU
have not disparaged at on time, or another. I call you a douche, well,
because you are. Ya'know, for sometime I held out hope that you might
extricate your head out of the Jap OEM's asses, but obviously that's
not going to happen, though I am curious, isn't it real smelly and dark
    up there?
I decided some time ago that your style of whatever it is, makes no
sense in the context of discussion. To you, discussion is telling
others what to think and should they resist, without fail, you ALWAYS
go for the negative. There is no playing nice with you, the trouble and
almost always is with jerk's, is they/you can't take what they give and
until you change the way you communicate you're going to get what you
give. Sorry, that's just how it goes in the big city known as Usenet,
learn to deal with it, STFU, go away, or liten the fuk up, the choice
is yours, just do yourself a favor and chose wisely..
If that's such a bad thing then maybe you, or your buddy's should start
their own series. Oh wait, ISTR hearing something about that, tell me
again how that worked out, 'kay?
WTF? Dude, when so-called moto-journalist's accept gratuities from
OEM's any and every damn thing they write is suspect, and in the case
of CN and Soup overwhelmingly so. Ulrich has his own agenda no doubt,
but from what little I've read it's more race based and not brand, but
you keep on believing that bullshit as if it's the word of God, just
quit trying to pass it off as such..
No need, racing on a Friday night under the lights is gonna be a
winnah, huge too! I saw a couple hours of the Rolex, but it was raining
and I really couldn't get into it, what we saw Friday night was F'ing
awesome! The only way this misses is if everybody's out of work, sadly,
that's a distinct possibility, though hopefully B-Rock will have some
impact by then, but given how bad yer' boi Bush has fucked us all
that's prolly too much to hope for...

How 'bout them GATORS?? Oh hell yeah! Tebow is truly one-off and
    deserves another Heisman!

    T3 proclaims:
You don't know what your talking about. As a friend of more than
a couple of the guys that recently got offed at the AMA, there were
none that were beholding to the OEMs. While I didn't really know
the Pro folks much, most of the people let go have been because
they aren't the new guys crew. That's the only reason. Nothing
to do with competence, OEM's, crooks (they got rid of those
separately), or performance. If you aren't Dingman's buddy,
you aren't at the AMA anymore.

And I think I asked this before but WTF is a Gator? It must
be a football team as I know there's some Heisman thing
they give to the latest OJ simalcrum but which team is a
    Gator?

I said riddled, not all, but for sure there were some on the dole, just
as sure as there were incompetent's especially when it came to RR.
Dingman? I really don't know much about, but when someone new comes in
they bring their buddy's, it's probably not right, but we both know
    that's what usually happens..
Really? U of Fl, Gators. You musta missed the game with Alabama
yesterday, prolly the best college game I've seen a years, if not ever..

BTW, cold up there? It's fukin' freezin' here...

    T3 retorts:
My point should have been that AMA Pro was not AMA and
AMA is getting rid of people that were fully competent, not
on the dole, but not Dingman minions. Only one guy had
his hand in the till and that was a board of directors guy
    (Dal Smilie), not an employee.

The AMA has been pretty ineffectual in what I expect it to do for
USA riders. If that changes I'll be surprised as I don't think it's a
function of the management, it's a problem with bikers not
    being organizing/lobbying/moneyed sort of people.

I paid attention to the radio this morning when they were talking
about football and their championship series so I figured it
out. Sounded like their series is as fouled up as Daytona
    Minibike.

Phhhfffft. We go here when we can't ride outside:
    http://www.raysmtb.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=16&Itemid=16
I built a single speed just for there. My 11 year old and I
have been going 2-3 times a week since it got cold.
Not enough snow for cross country skiing yet.

Only one was dumb enough to leave a paper trail that couldn't be
overlooked, ironically, the guy who should've known better too, but
from what I heard there were others that the "new mgmt." let slide in
the name of looking forward, which given everything else that's
happened was probably the thing to do..
He's dumping AMA guys? WTF? If anything they were the folks holding the
deal together for the last 10 years, any idea why other than him lining
the hallways with his cronies? Heh, maybe they're just broke like the
    rest of us..
Oh hell yeah, the BCS is a total clusterfuk not unlike the DMG/OEM
thing, only difference is it happens every year, we really need a
    playoff..
I can imagine that place gettin' a little crowded come February. I'm a
total wuss when it comes to cold, let it drop below 45 and my happy ass
is inside, pretty much always been like that too...

    T3 asks:
Yep, about 40 of them so far. Guys that ran all the special events
    (women
in motorcycling, vintage days, etc), guys that organized and led the
tours, much of the magazine staff, a few from membership, and
some from amateur racing. That's just the ones I knew of. Basically
if you weren't a Dinger, you are out.

And on the issue of money - I still haven't been able to figure out
    what
the AMA got for AMA Pro. Seems like a membership owned company
that would be easy to find out but not so.

It's big enough that even pretty crowded it's OK. Everything is one
way too so on the worst days you have to stay in line but nobody
ever stops moving so you're always pedaling anyway.

    Pussy.
