Yeah, like a retractable roof for inclement weather, or a beer cooler.
Perhaps they'll be introduced when the 2013 model comes out this fall.

  5. I've always wondered why they've never done a diesel. Same with BMW.
Don't s'pose the Yanks would buy them, though.

It's like magazines - I suspect that the April editions are out now.

*ding*. Apart from pickup trucks and some old Mercedes Diesels from the
70s and 80s, it's actually not that easy to find vehicles with a diesel
engine. They've got a bit of a biodiesel subculture here but the
mainstream buyer still appears to want to chuck large amounts of petrol
    into their vehicles.

The only one I know that's in production is the Hayes-DT:
    http://www.hayes-dt.com/
It's based on the Kawi KLR and they've been making them for years for
the US military. They were going to sell them to the public, but
backtracked when they saw the reaction to the $20,000 price tag.

I tend to agree as updates go its not exactly earth shattering

Shame really. A goldwing with 140 HP and 250 lb-ft of torque would be
somewhat smartish away from the lights even with a couple of average
    sized Americans on board.

Would kill the sale figures of their petrol fueled ones? Or are the
    technical limits not yet overcome?

Anyone heard of recent marketing efforts of the Neander diesel cruiser?
