how good is rossi

    Inferior bike? Hardly. The Yam is handling superbly and the difference in
    power has narrowed substantially. It may be at a slight disadvantage at some
    circuits but it is also at a relative advantage at others. It is far from
    your description of a "pox bike"!

    Rossi simply has no worthy competition at the moment. He is certainly in the
    elite of the elite. To my mind, Rossi is one of those freaks who seems to be
    able produce consistent results regardless of the machine he is on, the
    track, conditions etc. (within reasonable limits). Do you ever wonder why he
    isn't riding a Suzuki or a Kawasaki?

    As long as your tyres are OK, a light fuel load = fast!

    I think that is at least partly true but supposedly the ex-Yamaha riders have
    felt vindicated by Rossi as some of the changes that he requested and had
    granted were the same that the other guys requested and had denied.
