At this time 32 years ago exactly, I was waiting with eager anticipation for
the stoke of midnight so that I could ride my shiny new Puch VZ50 for the
    very first time.

My dad was quite strict and there was no way he was gonna let me ride that
bike until I had turned sixteen, fair enough I suppose... he did pay for it!

So at midnight precisely I wobbled off on a 30 minute ride from Romford to
Wanstead to visit my older brother, who was a little bewildered as to why I
had woken him up at gone midnight, well I had to have a destination even in
    those days.

So 48 tomorrow and still riding which can't be bad, but no new bike this
year... think I am getting a paper shredder :-(

  2. They are good they are, I got one for my birthday. Much fun chopping
stuff up for the compost heap.

Plus there is the added thrill of seeing how much continuous shredding you
can do without the thing catching fire ;-)

Well that was a good birthday, got my shedder and have now shredded
everything in sight, ate curry, drank beer... lovely old job!
