    I like the description I once saw about Italians setting off from the
    traffic lights - 'like rats out of a pipe' ;-)

    Must dig out the reference sometime. I'll have it saved somewhere for

    I like the Italian meaning for the colours of traffic lights:
    green : accelerate
    amber : accelerate hard
    red : accelerate hard, with attention to steering
