    That was a different pic - where a whole chunk of bodywork was missing
    iirc. I don't suppose a cracked winglet's a major problem, as long as
    there aren't any engines at the back for bits to be sucked into if it
    falls off.

    Indeed. What's wrong with propping up a bed with a car jack? In one
    student grot I inhabited, my bed was propped up on one side by half a
    dozen bricks.

    A particularly athletic sesh with The Doctor dislodged them once, and
    tipped us both onto the floor. Happy memories.

    And judging by the strings attached to the trailing edge of the winglet and
    main wing, it looks more like an experiment than something on a regular
    flight wiv passengers an' all.

    In one dodgy gaff I stayed in at Uni one of my housemates had his bed
    propped up by half a dozen mice.
