"Human friendly transmission"??

  1. What are they aiming at? The Deauville market? They say "long, low and
    luxurious sports tourer" but I think I'd prefer a bigger engine and
    higher screen if I were a serious tourer. They say "a cool urban
    warrior" and I just can't see that either. I'm sure it'll be very easy
    to ride but I think it's a weird mix of space age with Harley
    footrests.

    There is a big bikers meeting place a mile down the road from me at
    Abergavenny bus station. I'm seeing more and more machines like the Yamaha
    T-max & Honda Silverwing turn up. They are generally ridden by short, fat
    blokes who might get out of breath with all that gear changing nonsense.

    As the baby boomer population spike shifts towards retirement and
    decrepitude, there may be more call for automatic bikes that look like
    something from a Marvel comic.
