the prison service agrees with you and is denying the allegations made by
Huntley. Hence the evidence will be tested in court

  3. Considering the fact the prison service paid out £15million pounds in
compensation last year to prisoners who had been injured whilst in
custody Huntley has a very good chance of getting a payout .

Its only because of who he is are the authorities even bothering to
defend it , all totally political .

Of the £15 million most was paid out without it ever getting before a
judge all out of court settlements to aviod the feeding frenzie that
will ensue if this ever reaches the courts

The cost of the case will be well over £1 million pounds wether
Huntley wins or loses as he is Automatically entitled to legal aid

The time bar on civil involving incarcerated offenders cases should
be removed so that the parents of the girls have the option to seek
damages against Huntley .A precedant has been set for this type of
action when a rape victim was allowed to sue her attacker several
years after the time bar when he won the lottery but i think its run
on a case by case situation

  4. Have you never made toffee or peanut brittle?

"3. Cook, without stirring until a teaspoon of the hot toffee mixture
becomes a hard ball when dropped into a jug of cold water. If you have a
sugar thermometer, it should register 138C. Remove the pan from the heat."

Reduced as in "Eliminated". If mistakes aren't eliminated, innocent people
are still going to die. I wonder how you'd feel if it was your only child
    who was executed by mistake?.

I can't imagine a comment like "Bastard, but at least we've reduced the
number of times it's happened" would be tripping off the end of your tongue.

    Yep, agree.
He's not getting parole for at least 40 years though and I really don't see
him surviving prison for that long, so he's never going to get his hands on
    any cash.

Well at least you wouldn't be suing if it happened to you. Well not until
the lawyers got their hands on you.
We live in Utopia now, didn't you know? *Someone* has to be blamed.

Innocent people die every few seconds. Emotive bollocks doesn't address
    the argument.
Of course it wouldn't, I'd still have a few left.

See that bit about 'quite a lot of sugar'?

Granted you can start of with not very much and then evaporate lots of
the water, but then you end up with not very much. I'd also not really
describe that as 'sugared water' but more 'toffee' or 'syrup'.

Was in the hospital wing for the next week-an-a-half, so effectively
isolated, then got shipped off to another nick (that being normal
process, they send you to a local nick first then decide where to put
    you later).
