In WA you can get an R-N licence, which entitles you to ride a moped
    only at 16.

Any other licence allows you to ride a moped, but you have to be at
least 17 to get any other licence.

[wooshies] I am a literary moron.

But... Having only just bothered to look at this fine thread, I am
    tempted to ask:

How do I get a hypothetical license?
Would I need to pass a hypothetical test?
    Riding a hypothetical bike?
Or would I need to become hypothetical myself?

    Hypothetically speaking, of course...

    Hypothetically pathetical or actually pathetical?

I've warned you about "thinking", George... Best you leave that to
those who can. Your best bet is to just follow those Harleys and
hope to Christ they know where they're going...

That's only an hour's bicycle ride away.
You could always live in a reasonable location.

Around here, they complain when they actually start testing to see
whether you still have driving skills and can see when you're 80.
Oh their rights are being trampled upon etc etc.

Unfortunately, they didn't get the local 82 year old bloke off the
road in time to stop him from pulling out in front of a truck and
causing it to overturn and lose a truckload of meat to contamination.

The driver was apparently distressed that he contributed to the
accident (not caused?). I wonder if he is licenseless yet.

What? Swap my 20,000 sq metres of land in the peace and quiet, with
the wind rustling through my 600 trees for 400 sq metres in the noisy
city? I lived there for 40 years and I think my current location is
    more reasonable.
I suspect that those young people with acute eyesight and lightning
reflexes are responsible for and involved in more accidents than 80
year olds. I also suspect they get more fines and licence suspensions.

If you prod someone on that cycle you will get a kicking.

But... if I imagine it, it's hypothetical...

In that case, retard the timing a little... and clean the points...

    Be fucked it is!

That's 2 hours away (assuming it's fairly flat) and yes I own a couple
    of semi-reguarly used pushies.

Only fit buggers can average anything close to 40kph.
It sounds like a reasonable location... few annoying neighbours :)
