My thoughts exactly. If he was a proper dealer rather than a dodgy
backstreet trader, he could sit it in the showroom.
    Gednose. Something dreadful.

Trouble is, these days I'm keeping stuff, which is why there's no
space. Perhaps I'll flog the Z650. Actually, somebody here was
enquiring about my CD250 a couple of months ago. Time to dig out some
    old emails.
    How could you!

    It's this:

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI....MEWN:IT&viewitem=&item=150094332075&rd=1&rd=1

I've just spent a surprisingly small amount of money at Dave Silver's,
for a very large box full of NOS components. He has an amazing amount
of stuff for these (well, the engine's the same as a zillion other
Hondas), all from a job lot purchase, but when it's gone, it's gone.

    Bargains included:

Brand new complete fork legs at £39 each (+VAT).

    Wheel rim £15

    Owner's handbook £3.50

There's a strange atavistic pleasure to be had from unwrapping
components and knowing the last person who touched them was some Jap,
possibly now dead, over 30 years ago. The fork legs were wrapped in
lovely brown paper with Honda stamped all over it, and then sealed in
    polythene.

I get the same pleasure from undoing some fasteners on immaculate low-
miler old classics, and knowing that, again, the last person who
touched them did so in Japan, decades ago. Maybe I'm just strange.

If that's a Merlin Coachworks job (can't be arsed to look at the link),
    then *very* rideable.

I've seen similar (think it was a TL1000) travelling along the twistier
bits of the A68 at a very respectable speed.

Ahhh... I thought I'd seen it somewhere before too.

Let me know if you want to sell it because someone was telling me
today how much he wants a decent one. Is it destined for Jamie? Only a 17 year old could want one of those
in yellow. Get it sprayed back to silver asap.

TOG & The Doctor keep bees, so they're entirely comfortable with things
    that are yellow and black.

"trouble"? The only problem with the Ural is the feebleness of the
acceleration and dis-acceleration, and the only trouble has been domestic.
