I blame the TV, I really do.

After watching Hawkwind last night I've downloaded Space Ritual.

I feel I should be ashamed to admit I'm finding it rather enjoyable.

Feel ashamed? You shouldn't do that.
Play it loud, all the way through, then play the original versions
of the tracks on 'In Search Of Space' and 'Doremi Fasol Latido'.

Hawkwind (Silver Machine) was about the only 8 Track cartridge I had to
    play in my old Jag.

I can now see why Fiona hated that car.

The vision of Hawkwind and an old Jag is just, well, not you really.

The old Jag fits but Hawkwind adds all sort of drug-dealing connotations
    that don't fit.

Actually, it was a Daimler and it was pink.

Well, if he's got a turntable in the attic, I've got vinyl in the shed.

I've got In Search of Space on vinyl as well. It's not the first time
    I've listened to Hawkwind.

Accompanied by the sound of a chisel on slate
Ringo had a pink Daimler Sov.

    <small voice>

    I quite like 'em.

The Radio Times suggests that Planet Rock has an hour with Nik Turner at
    18:00 today.
It was worth hearing on Saturday so if today is a repeat rather than a
printing error then it might be worth hearing again.
