I did the Diesel Dance

I spotted the patch of diesel too late; I was
fully commited to the bend anyway.

As my rear tyre went slippy slidey I thought:

    " Oh **** - here we go"

Fortunately, it was a small patch, about 1 m sq.

Next thought was: " It'll be ok though as there (for once) is no car
following 3 ft behind me, I will just do the standard lowside getoff"

Rear wheel found the dry tarmac, and with a twitch things were
    back to normal.

    I hate Diesel.

What you gain on the slides, you'll lose on the roundabouts.

Nothing cool about the streams of diesel around Preston recently.
What the **** happens, no cap on the tank? no brain engaged?

From the interest I have been taking(1) in truck fuel tanks recently, I
would say that the spillages are mostly caused by older trucks
with badly fitting caps ie worn out ones.

    1. Park near a place with lots of trucks. (2)

    2. Ok ok Lorry then

My memory is, as you, a bit shit - can you remind me of what you have
    gone and gotted recently?

Or a broken fuel return pipe. This returns unused fuel to the tank,
often breaks, does not get noticed for months sometimes.

and Gordon Ramsay cookbook think that *I'm* ready for pipe and

Swot I fort. Which turns it from a mid-life crisis into plain
    ordinary neuroses, no?
