I didn't know you could do "powerslides" with the front brake ...

    You drag the front brake to get the rear to spin when the power is
    applied hard. Years ago I used to be able to do it quite successfully
    on my GSX750EFE, but that was a fucking great long thing that barely
    stood a chance of lifting the front wheel if you did this sort of
    thing. I wouldn't have dreamed of attempting it at 70mph on an R1
    though, I'd quite happily have the back spinning like **** in third
    gear and be crawling along at slightly less than walking pace
