    It's here and it's German.

Maybe old news to some, but nice imho and _not_ a cruser. :)

    1998cc with Turbo
    380Nm torque @ 3500 rpm (about 280 ft/lbf i think !)
    260 bhp @ 5650 rpm

    Hmmmm..

Only 4 years old! MCN used to mention it all the time, hence most thought
it was just a myth :)

That particular one, perhaps, but they've been made for _much_ longer
than that. I think the 'original' mammoth was first produced in the
1960s, with an NSU motor or something similar, but ICBW.

Heh, those older ones are a bit ugly. This newer style one, I think is
nice... for a bike with a 2l engine in it. Better looking than the
    Rocket 3 too imho.

What gets me about the bike, is it's superb torque figures. If I had the
dosh, I'd buy one, and one of those turbine bikes too. :)

Oh, I'd have one as well. It looks a tad uncomfortable to ride though.

Still it'll keep your legs warm in winter.

Correct, they used the engine from the NSU Prinz. All told it was a good
idea, because the Prinz was a fucking awful car with a nice engine.

Let's face it, any car with the name of a disease is going down the

More to the point, look at the weight.

Other than the vertical engine, it looks pretty special. But heavy.

Dunno, but I wouldn't like to find out on the turbine machine. Loose
screws and turbines don't mix nicely, less so if they're between your
    legs.

Twin 8 pot brakes, I would have thought, would be ok.
