Don't make a lot of good people regret having helped you get your first
motorcycle.. Listen to the older and wiser .. You have a long way to go and
quite some time to spend before you are there.. The "your opinion versus
mine" comment isn't appropriate.. Sorry isn't a good response when you are
"dead, dead, dead".. Remember that while you learn..

Not a problem, Little Bit.. You hang in there and you will make it.. Takes a
short while to grow up, then, if you make it, you will be an adult for a
    long time..LOL

(The point wasn't to get a Helix; the point was not to worry about getting
a big, powerful bike, but to work on your skills instead.)

No you don't. You're 14 for crying out loud! At 14, you're only
experienced at eating and...maybe changing the TV channels.

Be happy you're 14. When you can afford your own motorcycle,
insurance, maintenance, gas, equipment...and are old enough, then and
only then should you be looking at riding a motorcycle on the streets
with everyone else. It takes much more than learning to balance a
motorcycle to "know how to ride".
Slow? At your age, that's what you need IS slow.

Go get a Vespa or an old Honda moped and be happy.
Yeah, but my opinion is correct...since I'm like 3 times your age and
have been riding (LEGALLY on the streets with motorcycles) about 10
years longer than you've been alive.

And how many miles do you have under you?

I guess my opinion IS more correct than yours.

My next question goes something like this: At 14, are you even
responsible to own a motorcycle? Sure, it can be in your name at
14...but are you responsible to own it? If you ride a motorcycle and
damage someone's property, are you able to be responsible for it? Just
because you might not be on the street somewhere, doesn't mean someone
else's property isn't in the area to be damaged. Can you pay for the
damage? Have you thought that far ahead?
