    Kinda explains my Chimay problems...

Lost a spoke(1) on the way to meet you... pre-emptive strike

On my way home, the gearchange dismantled itself.

It's all you fault, you know! ;-)

    (1) Into a tear in the space-time continuum.... utterly vanished...

I could buy Andy Crawfords overpriced B6 for that money at full asking
    price and still have change.

An ER-5 on ebay generally flogs for £500 or £1000 if it's in excellent
    condition according to Completed Listings.

When did you move down here? Around the time I had that Civic SMIDSY?

That poor little ER5'll have a fair few miles on it when Nick sells
    it, then. :)

    After that, I believe...

I moved down here late July/early August.

SMIDSY'd 4th October. The events probably aren't connected.

I've got this image of a four-legged version of you, somehow.

Well, that was in the middle of the week. I don't normally radiate
chaos far enough that it can touch this area down here while I'm in
    London.

My brain is refusing to allow me to imagine what it could look like,

As if I'd do that. I just want to see if your clutch slips if I dump
it with the throttle wide open.
