So the recently purchased arbor press won't do the YZ swingarm bearings. There's just no way to get them into the 'throat' of the press because they're too wide. I need something else. Shame I didn't win the auction for the hydraulic press. Tempted by a 70 quid one on ebay (item 110606495859). Fortunately since i'm not working today I managed to take the swingarm to a local engineer who will also fix stripped threads in the swing arm by fitting an 12mm-8mm adapter (adjuster thread on one side opened up to a 10mm hole and a nut and bolt just sat in it holding the wheel in position. On the other side nothing, adjuster snapped off; I fixed this with a left handed drill and a punch.) Might get it back tomorrow. Fingers crossed.
