A much better chance indeed - which is why I don't play it. Use your
    brain.

<shrug> The National Lottery is a mystery to me. The only interest I
have is I would love to get the chosen number distribution from
Camelot, but they wont part with it.

Funny enough, I'm looking for the bloody book now. Aha!

Against The Odds - Peter L Bernstein.

    Very good read.

    ITYF it's rather skewed to < 31.

So if you want to win *big* pick higher numbers.

Hmmmm...but how many are thinking like you...?

Middle numbers, that's where you want to be.

Thanks - <googles> assuming you mean Against The Gods! I shall put

I stretch it out to an hour or more on the odd occasions I bother to
    buy a ticket.

Of course, there's the suicidal depression when I don't win afterwards
that I have to contend with.

I buy my tickets online, sometimes days before. The hourly cost per
    dream drops significantly.

Oh botherations, you're quite right. I read another one on risk
assessment as well, if I can find it I'll post it up.

This must mean that you're also ecstatically happy after every
thunderstorm because you haven't been struck by lightning.

Naturally. Once a storm has gone I rush bravely outside, shake my fist
gleefully at the sky and shout, "Hah! Missed me again ya bastards!"

    Doesn't everyone?
