I guess I'm not surprised

    Not really. Apart from that fly in the ointment they were fine.

    The assessor didn't give me any crap, coming out with a decent
    valuation off the bat, and once agreed the cheque was sent out pronto.

    And it didn't bounce.

  2. The insurance on Cheryls MM1000 guarentees to pay out the agreed
    valuation sum in case of a write-off. It gets valued every two years by
    Charlie Wares in Bristol and we get a nice little certificate.

    It's worth now about what we paid for it 15 years ago.. and in that
    time it's had 2 new wings, brake servos, heated rear screen and an
    alternator upgrade (and is about to have a new crankshaft & clutch).
